About six months ago I applied for a job vacancy I saw in the local newspaper for trainee driving instructor. I went through the recruitment process and passes, and next week I officially start the new driving instructor training course. I am a bit nervous as it sounds very challenging, and the course itself cost me a lot of money, but I think it will definitely be worth it as I have wanted a new career for a long time now.
One thing I am not too certain about is whether it will be easy to find a jobĀ after I have qualified, as it seems that there are lots of people training at the moment, so perhaps there will be more qualified driving instructors out there than is needed. It would be terrible to have spent all that time and money on driving instructor training, only to end up unemployed. A lot of people say that there is a shortage of UK driving instructors out there, but then other people say the exact opposite. It is difficult to know who to believe. What do you guys think?
