I only run this blog as a hobby, in real life I still need to work like everybody else, and currently I am a HGV truck driver for an oil company. The long journeys are starting to get to me though, and I really want to get a job doing something I am interested in, so last night I submitted my application for a video game tester job vacancy. I am crazy about games and spend a lot of my spare time playing them, so if I get this job it will be a dream come true. The pay is not great, but the opportunity to spend my days getting paid for something I do anyway as a hobby is fantastic. I really hope I can become a video game tester soon.
I found the job vacancy simply by searching online where I came across Dan’s blog – he is a video game tester who used to do a job he hated, until he found his dream career. I was so excited last night that I phoned my family to tell them the news, although they think I am totally crazy and that it is a dead end job. I really hope I can prove them wrong.
